Spring may have sprung
It's extraordinary for a Queenslander to be living in a land where the climate is similar to the climate of my ancestral homes of Ireland and Scotland. A land with a real winter and a very noticeable spring. In the short time since my return from Asia, trees are putting out new leaves, flower buds are unfolding into shockingly floral flowers and birds and butterflies abound. However last nights news brought a warning of a late snow in the South Island and a polar blast expected to blow into Auckland by this evening. As I was saying - Spring may have sprung.
