My patron saint - the monkey god Hannuman - leads me from Sri Lanka the scene
of his victory at Ella, to India and his devotee and my good friend Bala then all the way
to Indonesia on the doorstep of Australia, where in Java and Bali, he commands and
delights in temples, puppet shows and dance dramas.
